I am Yunfei Liu, currently pursuing a B.Sc. in Computing at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and I am actively seeking opportunities for Ph.D. studies in the fall of 2024. My primary research interests revolve around the Internet of Things (IoT), networking, wireless communication, and their interdisciplinary applications.
Throughout my academic career, I’ve published research papers under the guidance of Prof. Henry Chun Bun Chan, focusing on topics like Bluetooth Low Energy and Ultra-wide Band for mobile distance estimation and positioning, and online student behavior analysis. My work has been published in renowned journals such as the IEEE Communications Magazine and IEEE Internet of Things Journal, and conferences like COMPSAC 2023 and IEEE TALE 2022. Currently, I am extending my research collaborations with Prof. Oleg Kiriukhin, exploring finance modeling with programming, and with Prof. Pejoohan Tavassoti on an automated pavement defect detection project.
