I am Yunfei Liu, currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, starting in Fall 2024. I am a member of RadLab, under the supervision of Prof. Aline Eid. My research interests include mmWave radar modeling and signal processing.
Throughout my academic career, I’ve published research papers under the guidance of Prof. Henry Chun Bun Chan, focusing on topics like Bluetooth Low Energy and Ultra-wide Band for mobile distance estimation and positioning, and online student behavior analysis. My work has been published in renowned journals such as the IEEE Communications Magazine and IEEE Internet of Things Journal, and conferences like COMPSAC 2023 and IEEE TALE 2022. Currently, I am extending my research collaborations with Prof. Oleg Kiriukhin, exploring finance modeling with programming, and with Prof. Pejoohan Tavassoti on an automated pavement defect detection project.
